Founders Brewing is launching its seasonal “All Day IPA” for the first time in cans.
The brewer, launched in 1997 by co-founders Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers, has evolved into one of the most recognised craft breweries in the United States.
It will use Ball Corporation 12oz cans for the drink, which will be available across North America this summer.
“The decision to go with Ball for our cans was really a value judgment on our part,” said Brad Stevenson, Founders’ vice president of operations.
“We always seek to maximize value as defined by the best combination of quality, price and service.”
“Founders Brewing’s decision to offer its craft beer in Ball cans is a strong endorsement of the can as a sustainable, consumer-friendly package that can accompany craft beer consumers anywhere they go,” added Robert Miles, senior vice president, sales for Ball’s metal beverage packaging division, Americas.
