Good find macoan! Guessing we are going to be seeing a lot more of these. Seem to be coming from DPSG. (My personal observation: harder to open from the bottom.) Attachments:

Looks like they have partnered/sold space to summer related activity sponsors. The box on the shelf here has a Cincinnati Reds logo. All of the cans I could see through the "handhole" had the baseball design.

From what I can find online, this is mostly still in the Southern California area. Great looking cans! Hope it does well and eventually makes its way back east so I can grab some.

Started seeing these in stores about a week ago. I've lost track of how many Heart Truth cans have been released. This one stood out to me more than some of the others. Maybe because the heart looks so unrefined and unsymmetrical.

I thought I had seen her on some Pepsi cans before. Did a little search on canmuseum.com and found this one: canmuseum.com/Detail.aspx?CanID=42821But that's not the one I remembered seeing. So I dug around in my own cans and found this one: Anybody remember any more cans she's been on?

I just took a look at your collection in the flickr photos. Very impresive! Never knew about many of those flavors. I'll keep you in mind if I see any of the flavors you're looking for.

Welcome to the board, Kamikazenl. I like the Heavy Metal can for the design and the odd size. Have you tried one of these yet? Tastes like a tangerine! Best taste of any of the energy drinks IMO. The can is cool too. My photo is not great, but check out the textured paint. So far, I've only seen it in the 473ml size.

Picked these up yesterday. Hoping there will be halloween designs for Big Red and Sun Drop as well. I was not able to find the Sun Drop wolf can last year. If anyone has one they'd like to trade, pm or email me. I have a lot of extra 7.5 and 8 ounce minis for trade.

Had to share this shot of a billboard promoting the "GOLD". This was hours away from my home. As predicted, my local bottler did not participate. I grabbed some to drink since it was available. Very interesting, not like anything I had tasted before. The malt flavor is in the aftertaste, and it really didn't remind me of beer. The good news is that I could chug it pretty easy. Bad news (for me) is that it has all the same calories as regular dew.

Your original info was correct. Starting to see these listed on a popular auction site (in bottles). The seller says it is only available there in JC for now. According to some other info released by Mtn Dew, there will be a second release in 2013 with six regional designs and names for the malt-flavored dew. As always, my local bottler will opt out.

You called it, drpep. Grabbed the minis in Ohio a while back. Then, a few weeks later, I see this 12pk box with Marco on it, in a store here in Lex. Unfortunately, the cans inside were regular design. PM me if you ever want to trade for one of the minis. I have 5 extra.

Hi nrgx, I'm not an admin, nor an expert, but I'll just throw this out there... I went through 10 or 15 minutes of frustration when I first found and registered at canmuseum.com. I kept trying to use my login to get into the forum as well. At some point I realized they were separate from each other and that I would also need to register on this board as well. Hope this helps. If not, one of the admins will probably help you soon.

Welcome to the forum! Haven't seen the giant Code Red in my travels yet. Holding out hope though.

I've been looking forward to this new flavor too. Hope my local bottler doesn't try to skip out on this one. They have discontinued Diet Code Red and Livewire production here (21 counties) and they didn't even produce Diet Supernova at all. Luckily I've found all these flavors in areas served by other bottlers.

I was not as lucky as with the first 12 pack. For each of the other designs, I was only able to find one character per pack. The set is complete, but there is still a lot of full strength Dr Pepper in the fridge. I'll have to do a bunch of exercise if I drink all these sodas!
