We have these new 'widemouth bottles' here in Canada. Basically its a can with a twist off top. We also have some 'Aluminum bottles' or 'cabottles' as collectors call them. Check out The Aluminum Bottle CANnoisseurs wesite at: abcchapter.com/ My question is, do these belong in the can museum? Should there be a special section for them since they are aluminum?

Yes, they are bottles, alubottles, sometimes also called bottlecans. They are welcome in the CanMuseum, as there are many cancollectors that also collect them. There are already some (mostly coca-cola) alubottles in the CanMuseum. However, we need to set a limit somewhere, so plastic and glass bottles are not allowed. For these someone else should create the BottleMuseum.

Allcans.
