They look too much like diet Coke because of the white background. Personally I like the cans and I think consumers are just too lazy to read. It's a shame these cans aren't going to be sold anymore, so fellow collectors...go out and buy them while you can for your collections! The Arctic White Polar Bear can will be replaced with a RED Polar Bear can... Wall Street Journal Article: online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204012004577070521211375302.html

When I first seen the cans, it made me think of "diet Coke" also, so I can see how people (who unlike me actually hunt & look at cans) would have gotten confused.
... I wasn't planning on saving as many since it's a national release, since it isn't staying around... and there is now "controversy" (Pepsi "Sex" cans anyone?) - I think I'll save a few more of these then I originally planned.

Interesting article on the confusion of the colours. Notably, the red polar bear cans are currently available in Hong Kong with the words 'Merry Christmas' on them. It shows how the use of polar bears imagery can easily be changed and associated with the Holidays through Coke's branding over many years. ------- rft3.wordpress.com/
