Some cans, especially diet Coke and diet Pepsi cans, have a strong mirroring effect. (You can see your distorted reflection in it)
Taking pictures of these cans is more difflcult.
When taking pictures a metallic can the way I do, you always get some kind of reflection.
Look at the black areas above and below the Pepsi logo. These are distorted reflections of the camera.
The way to prevent this, is to put the can for 2 minutes in the freezer (or 5 minutes in the refrigerator). When you take the can out, a thin layer of condensation will appear. When you take a picture, no reflections will appear and you will get a good picture, like shown.
I wish you much success, with this method. I have use it several times already.

Yeah, I'll have to try that. I get so frustrated when taking photos of cans and I get that reflection. I think cans are one of the most difficult things to take photos of.
