he title of the new novel written by the author of the Harry Potter saga, The Casual Vacancy , has been released and will be in bookstores from September 27th, in hardback and ebook edition. The story is set in an English town, Pagford, where not everything is as idyllic as it seems. The town, with an ancient abbey and market square, is shocked by the unexpected death of Barry Fairweather. Behind the facade of tranquility there is instead a city at war. Rich against poor, teenagers against parents, wives against husbands, teachers against their students. And the vacancy left on the parish council by Barry's death is the catalyst for the biggest war the city has ever seen.
